Chemistry Teacher - Abu Dhabi City, UAE

International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum offered
Middle and senior school teaching post
Minimum two years' experience required

Our client is a K to 12 school offering the IB syllabus in the town of Abu Dhabi City, UAE.

An opening for a qualified Chemistry teacher has come available to start September 2019 on a three-year contract.

You will teach Science across the age/ability range in the middle school alongside Chemistry classes in the senior school. Students are predominately local children from upper socio families with a small expat mix.

Minimum criteria for this role include holding a Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Science/similar + a PGCE/Diploma of Teaching or a B.Ed Chemistry or similar. A minimum two years full time experience delivering Chemistry/Science in a secondary classroom is a must. Note/ You must be a university qualified teacher

A tax-free package up to 15000AED a month (£3200/$4100USD) + accommodation, annual flights, transport to/from work, medical and visa is to be offered. Tuition for up to two children is also available.

The role would suit a candidate looking to gain entry into the UAE teaching market for the first time just as it would a teacher looking to move to a school offering a more attractive package. The client has indicated they will only consider applicants who are native or first language speakers of English as the curriculum is delivered in English.
